4th National Conference of AIDS Society of India

December 16-18, 2011. Lucknow, India.

Please also visit our conference website - www.asicon-2011.com that has updated information on the conference.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of ASICON 2011, it is our proud privilege to welcome you to the only and one must-attend conference on HIV/AIDS in India that focuses on HIV management, being organized at the Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, India from 16th-18th December 2011. This is the only official national conference of ASI and as such maintains a truly national character, among several meets/conferences organized in different parts of India with a typical regional, personal or organizational flair.

India's unparalleled contribution in transforming HIV-AIDS to a chronic manageable with affordable treatment options by virtue of its high – quality ARVs and low-cost patient care skills are lauded globally. Free ART Roll out by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), even second-line in our country with matured HIV-epidemic necessitates periodical review of strategies in care continuum. While the Govt., Pharma and NGOs are making intense efforts to enhance access to care, ASI feels dutybound to strengthen its quality implementation through scientific update. The deliberations will help enhance our capacity to offer quality HIV care and prioritize the research issues in India. It will provide an opportunity to review, reflect upon and look forward to emerging newer approaches in care and will thus be a milestone offering invaluable opportunity to learn, share and care.

After the successful ASICON 2010 in Hyderabad, ASI continued with a chain of CMEs in different parts of India and will continue to be a front runner in training health care providers. As per our promise to make it a truly national annual event, ASICON 2011 will be a unique opportunity for scientific update and a quality gathering of HIV care givers and scientists.

Understanding the limitations of Lucknow, we will try our best to give you the most comfortable stay. We guarantee you the extravagant food, entertainment and science. We resolve to give the best ever organised ASICON or for that matter better conference than any of the national conferences in the field of HIV/AIDS in past 20 years.

Please block your dates for ASICON-2011. See you in Lucknow on 16-18 December, 2011.
